Emirates Development Bank Launches Future Founder Program For Students In The UAE

The UAE's Emirates Development Bank (EDB) has launched the EDB Future Founder Program, a new initiative designed to equip students with entrepreneurial and leadership skills and help nurture the country's next generation of innovators.

Scheduled to run from July 6 to August 21, 2026, the EDB Future Founder Program 2026 is open to students aged 17 to 21 of all nationalities, with participants set to gain access to workshops, expert-led masterclasses, leadership development sessions, and business simulations designed to reflect real-world entrepreneurial environments.

Participants will also work with industry professionals and mentors to build practical skills in idea generation, problem-solving, financial literacy, innovation, and business model development. The program will include business case studies and real-world challenges designed to provide insight into how organizations operate, scale, and adapt to changing market conditions, while also fostering collaboration, creativity, and resilience.

In a statement, EDB CEO HE Ahmed Mohamed Al Naqbi said, “The EDB Future Founder Program reflects our commitment to investing in young talent as a cornerstone of the UAE’s long-term economic vision.
