In an interview with Inc. Arabia, Asef Sleiman, the general manager of CNS Middle East, an Abu Dhabi-based technology firm with offices in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Oman, shared insights on the importance of cybersecurity in today's business environment

Speaking about how artificial intelligence (AI) is influencing the cybersecurity landscape, Sleiman highlighted the growing threat to businesses due to the increased use of the technology. “AI is becoming embedded everywhere, and we are trying as much as possible to enable our clients to be ready for AI in different use cases, different areas of AI,” he said.

In line with this, Sleiman explained that CNS is focusing on both information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) security to ensure businesses are prepared for the increasing risks associated with digital transformation.

Sleiman also went on to explain that cybersecurity should be seen as part of a broader business strategy. “Cybersecurity, at the end of the day, is [about] business risk," he said, while noting the importance of balancing risk management with secure, effective solutions.

Looking to the future, Sleiman shared CNS's strategy for growth in the region and beyond. “In CNS, we believe in our value proposition -- [providing] value to our client, value to our technology provider, and value to our employees and shareholders,” he explained.
