UAE Announces September 15th as Mawlid al-Nabi Holiday

The Federal Authority for Human Resources has declared September 15th, falling on a Sunday, as an official holiday for public sector employees in the UAE. This day will mark Mawlid al-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The announcement was made via the authority’s social media platforms and includes a directive to ministries and federal institutions regarding the holiday for the year 1446 AH in the Islamic calendar.
