Dubai-Based Ascend Esports Launches UAE Tournament For Female Gamers
The Valorant Female Tournament is open to all casual and semi-competitive female players looking to test their skills, connect with like-minded gamers, and level up their game.

Ascend Esports, a Dubai-based esports hub, has announced the Valorant Female Tournament, taking place August 22–23 this year, targeting women gamers in the UAE.
Open to both casual and semi-competitive female players, the Valorant Female Tournament will see Ascend Esports present every registered player with a free coaching session, while the top 10 players will be awarded prizes worth up to AED40,000 (US$10,890), with it including cash rewards, gaming hours, and access to training sessions at the Ascend Esports Academy.
“We’re not just creating events, we’re building pathways to a sustainable gaming culture within the region," said Ashis Jami, founder and CEO of Ascend Esports, in a statement. "We are building a safe, supportive space where female gamers can learn, compete, and grow, whether casually or with pro aspirations.”
Besides the tournament, Ascend Esports is also staging the Streaming Crash Course from September 12–13, 2025, which will offer hands-on training for those looking to start or improve their streaming careers. Participants shall gain access to the company's streaming rooms and gear, professional guidance, and 10 redeemable streaming hours to launch their channels.
Both of these programs are said to be indicative of Ascend Esports' broader mission to act as an incubator for talent, as well as to build a safe, serious space for female gamers. As part of its zero tolerance policy for toxicity or misconduct, the company makes use of advanced monitoring software from Kidas, a Pennsylvania-based technology company that protects gamers from online threats.
Registration for the two events are now open on the Ascend Esports website.
