Zoom Launches AI-Powered Document Editing Tool
Zoom Docs is the first product in the Zoom Workplace suite to feature built-in generative AI technology.
The communications technology company Zoom has introduced a new document editing application, Zoom Docs, which uses its AI Companion platform to assist with editing, creating, and summarizing texts.[1]
Zoom Docs is the first product in the Zoom Workplace suite to feature built-in generative AI technology. It turns information from Zoom meetings into actionable documents and knowledge bases, allowing teams to focus on important work.
The new tool aims to improve collaboration and productivity by organizing information, integrating meeting summaries with documents, and supporting co-editing during meetings. The AI assistant helps with generating, reviewing, summarizing, and translating content.
Zoom Docs is available for free, allowing users to create an unlimited number of documents without advanced AI features. Users can also collaborate on up to ten documents. Paid Zoom Workplace subscribers will have access to additional smart features at no extra cost.
The application can be downloaded from Zoom’s website, used via the Zoom Web application, or accessed through the Zoom Docs website.
