French Tech Abu Dhabi-Dubai Unveils 2024-2025 Initiatives
La French Tech Abu Dhabi Dubai’s new board, led by President Stephane Boukris, introduced the roadmap for the upcoming year at a business breakfast meet-up at Fouquet’s Dubai.
La French Tech Abu Dhabi Dubai has outlined its initiatives for the 2024-2025 season, with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI), deep tech, and sustainability. The plans include several events and activities aimed at supporting the UAE’s growing tech ecosystem and promoting French technology abroad.
La French Tech Abu Dhabi Dubai, one of 66 French Tech Communities globally, promotes collaboration between French technology companies and tech players in the UAE and the wider GCC. With a focus on AI and green technology, it hosts events to encourage exchanges and partnerships.
Key initiatives include a Pitch & Meet event in October during GITEX North Star, where French startups will have the opportunity to present their ideas and connect with tech industry leaders in the UAE. In December, a conference will be held at La Sorbonne Abu Dhabi during Finance Week, focusing on the impact of AI on sustainable finance. In February, a panel on quantum technology and AI will take place during the Quantum Innovation Summit in Dubai.
In addition to the events, La French Tech plans to introduce networking opportunities and a podcast series to encourage collaboration within the tech community. These efforts, supported by the French Tech Community Fund, aim to connect French entrepreneurs in the UAE with business opportunities and contribute to the region’s innovation ecosystem.
