Gamechangers: AI | Almosafer’s Qais Amori Envisions A Future Where AI And Humans Collaborate As Trusted Partners

With over 15 years of experience in the digital and tech industry, Qais Amori is currently the Chief Digital and Technology Officer of the KSA-based traveltech platform Almosafer, which sees him lead a multifaceted team responsible for driving the company’s digital strategy and technological innovation. Artificial intelligence (AI) thus plays a central role in Amori’s efforts across both strategy and operations at Almosafer, especially when it comes to enabling localized user experiences.

“While global platforms often rely on translated English templates, we have built an Arabic-first infrastructure that leverages millions of local data points to provide hyper-localized recommendations and a seamless search experience,” Amori shares. “This approach has proven highly effective, resulting in a 25 percent increase in conversion rates for specific journeys, a 30 percent growth in customer engagement with dynamic content, and a more than 20 percent rise in repeat booking rates. Additionally, our integration of AI-assisted coding tools has improved developer performance by 15 percent, enabling us to solve complex operational hurdles, such as room mapping across 25 global suppliers with unprecedented speed.”

Such gains are, however, only an early indication of what AI can enable at scale, Amori predicts. “I envision a future where AI and humans collaborate as trusted partners to create completely seamless, predictive, and frictionless experiences,” he says. “What excites me about the road ahead is the potential for AI to move beyond productivity and efficiency to genuine human delight and well-being. This future will offer a contactless and highly personalized experience across all touchpoints of life, from travel to healthcare and urban living.”
