A subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC), Moro Hub owns the largest green data center in the world and boasts the first green cloud in the region. With its services, Moro Hub is committed to helping government entities and enterprises accelerate their digital transformation journey while achieving their decarbonization goals.

Moro Hub’s green data centers raise the bar for sustainability, allowing customers to significantly reduce their carbon footprint and receive a certificate of carbon savings.

“By adopting our eco-friendly technologies and practices, businesses can demonstrate their environmental responsibility, achieve their sustainability goals, and support the UAE’s vision of becoming a leader in the green economy,” Moro Hub CEO, Mohammad Bin Sulaiman, tells us.

Moro Hub’s data center facilities, including the one at Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, are certified by renowned international standards and certificates for security, business continuity, and sustainability, including ISO 27001, 27017, CSA Star, PCI, ISO 22301, ISO 20000, SOC1, SOC2, and SOC3. Moro Hub’s data center and cloud services are also compliant and certified by the local regulatory security standard Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC).

“With the right approach, sustainable data centers can revolutionize the industry, offering a green and cost-effective solution for the future,” says Bin Sulaiman.

Last year, Digital Dubai Authority launched its Dubai Digital Cloud to drive the emirate’s digital transformation by establishing a dynamic and dependable digital infrastructure. The project utilizes Moro Cloud to provide cloud services to government entities in Dubai.

“Chosen for our sovereignty, security, agility, and cost-effectiveness, Moro Hub offers an end-to-end IT service such as cloud consulting and designing, migration services, hosting, managed infrastructure and application services, and cybersecurity solutions,” he adds.

As the first green cloud in the region, Moro Cloud is setting new sustainability standards. Hosted in the UAE’s prestigious Tier III Certified Green Data Centers, Moro Cloud ensures a seamless transition with rapid migration, robust disaster recovery capabilities, and round-the-clock support, empowering organizations to adapt swiftly to changing demands.

“Moro Cloud enhances operational efficiency, accelerates innovation cycles, and optimizes costs through flexible pay-as-you-grow pricing models. The Cloud Management Platform offers an intuitive self-service portal with comprehensive infrastructure visibility and detailed monitoring, empowering businesses with actionable insights,” says Bin Sulaiman.

Moro Hub’s versatile connectivity options include multi-ISPs and GIN (Dubai’s Government Information Network), providing customers with multiple options to stay connected and agile in today’s dynamic digital landscape.

Moro Hub offers three models of cloud solutions and services tailored to meet diverse business needs, including a public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud, allowing customers to select a cloud deployment model based on their security needs and regulatory compliance.

Moro’s public cloud, a shared platform certified by DESC, ensures compliance with data residency regulations and empowers businesses to thrive in the digital age. Moro’s public cloud’s flexible pay-as-you-go-option makes it best suited for companies with variable workloads.

Moro’s private cloud is a dedicated platform that integrates all the features of the public cloud with additional customization and security options tailored to each enterprise’s requirements. It offers clients dedicated resources for high-performance applications and is best suited to enterprises with predictable workloads.

Moro’s hybrid cloud integrates the public and private cloud to provide customers with a strategic solution that balances flexibility, efficiency, and security.

Moro Hub also has high-level tier partnerships with Microsoft, Oracle, and Amazon Web Services, which enable it to offer respective cloud and managed services to its customers.

A Secure Platform

As businesses undergo digital transformation and integrate cloud-based tools and services, security has become paramount.

Moro Hub, which upholds SLA-based services and adheres to ISO, PCI, and DESC ISR industry standards, ensures the highest levels of security and compliance. Its security technology services encompass everything from the supply, design, and installation of security technologies, to device administration and capacity and performance management.

Moro’s cyber exposure analysis includes vulnerability management, penetration testing, and red teaming offensive assessments. Its IAM and cloud security services deliver secure cloud strategies, migrations, designs, and implementations. Through its advanced cyber services, it conducts dark web research and provides incident response retainers and breach assistance as well as compromise assessments.

It also leverages cutting-edge threat intelligence and proactive threat hunting to conduct thorough cyber forensic investigations and develop tailored breach mitigation strategies to safeguard against evolving threats.
