Reddit, OpenAI Partner to Integrate Content into ChatGPT

Reddit announced a new partnership with Microsoft-backed OpenAI to integrate its content into ChatGPT, part of the company’s broader strategy to diversify its revenue streams beyond advertising.[1]
OpenAI will help users find and interact with Reddit communities by integrating improved Reddit content into ChatGPT and new products. To accomplish this, OpenAI will make use of Reddit's Data API, which offers original, structured, and real-time content from Reddit. This will improve Reddit content understanding and presentation for OpenAI's AI tools, particularly for new topics.

Reddit, the community-focused message board site, founded in 2005, filed to go public in February, paving the way for it to be the first major social media company to debut on the stock market in years.
Earlier, OpenAI unveiled its latest innovation in artificial intelligence (AI), introducing the world to GPT-4o just one year after GPT-4's introduction. GPT-4o is available to all, including unpaid users.
