ADREC Launches First Residential Rental Index for Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) has introduced the first residential Rental Index for Abu Dhabi. This platform is designed to increase transparency and provide indicative rental values for tenants and landlords, supporting the stability of the rental market in the capital.[1]
The index offers accessible and reliable data on residential properties, helping both local and international residents understand the rental market and make informed decisions. It includes quarterly rental pricing for various areas in Abu Dhabi.
This new platform is part of ADREC’s effort to improve customer satisfaction and strengthen Abu Dhabi’s real estate sector. The Rental Index is available online at www.adrec.gov.ae.
Launched by the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) in November 2023, ADREC aims to enhance the efficiency and transparency of Abu Dhabi's real estate sector. Upcoming metrics, including a commercial index and service charge index, are expected to support the sector's stability.
