To facilitate Tamatem Games' growth, ADIO is offering support in setup facilitation, connections within the Abu Dhabi ecosystem, and access to international trade opportunities.
Specializing in culturally relevant Arabic-language games, Tamatem Games boasts a diverse portfolio of over 50 titles with 150 million downloads. Through its collaboration with ADIO, the company aims to establish a gaming center in Abu Dhabi.
With plans to employ over 40 gaming specialists in Abu Dhabi, Tamatem Games also intends to forge partnerships with local universities to offer internship and training opportunities.
Hussam Hammo founded Tamatem in 2013, which works with worldwide game developers to localize and launch mobile games in the Arabic-speaking market.
In 2021, Tamatem Games secured $11 million in a Series B funding round led by South Korea-based video game developer KRAFTON Inc., with participation from Venture Souq, Endeavor Catalyst, and existing investors including Wamda and 500 Global.[2]
