Gamechangers: Eternal's Roman Frolov
The founder and CEO of Eternal has been named one of Inc. Arabia’s Gamechangers for 2025—a list that recognizes leaders driving the artificial intelligence revolution in the MENA region.

Through his artificial intelligence (AI)-powered biotech company, Eternal, Roman Frolov is on a mission to solve one of humanity’s biggest challenges: cancer. Years after witnessing his grandmother undergo traditional cancer treatments, he embarked on a journey to develop a treatment for solid tumors, which he points out are notoriously hard to treat, and generic treatments are known to have a high chance of relapse.
“Our software leverages AI to design fully personalized treatments for each patient,” Frolov reveals. “This process involves identifying targets on the cell’s surface unique to tumor cells, and evaluating their likelihood of eliciting a sufficient immune response. Once our technology passes the clinical validation, it has the potential to save millions of lives.”

To his credit, Frolov seems to be well on his way to getting there. In just over six months since launching his UAE-based enterprise, the entrepreneur has not only developed a proof of concept to successfully identify targets unique to breast cancer cells, but he’s also in the process of signing a partnership with one of the largest European oncology centers, and now, he’s on track to raise an investment round to grow his company.
“I want to show people that cancer is, in fact, treatable,” Frolov declares. “If we can treat one of humanity’s oldest and most elusive enemies, I believe it will inspire young people to chase bold dreams, and build a better future for all.”
